"Jonathan was born and raised locally in the Fayetteville community. He attended East Carolina University and obtained a Bachelors of Science in Nursing in 2005. After graduation he began practice as a Registered Nurse in the Medical Intensive Care Unit at Pitt County Memorial Hospital in Greenville NC. He later returned to East Carolina University and completed the advanced practice degree graduating in 2009 with honors with a Masters of Science in Nursing as an Adult Nurse Practitioner.
Upon becoming credentialed through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners he was awarded the Department of Health and Human Services Rural Health Service Corps scholarship and began practice as a Nurse Practitioner in Belhaven North Carolina. Working for the Boyette Medical Clinic he provided primary care in the family practice setting, hospitalist and emergency care at Pungo District Hospital, as well as geriatric care in surrounding long term care facilities. In 2011 he returned to Greenville NC and joined the East Carolina University Surgical Oncology team and provided surgical care to patients with various cancer related conditions at Vidant Medical Center. In 2014 he returned home and started the SimpleClinic to provide a variety medical services within the Fayetteville community."
