Dr. Marcus Higi has experienced the challenges and joys of practicing in urban, rural and hospital settings as a primary care physician for more than two decades. He staffed an emergency department before relocating to the American Southwest, where he served as an emergency and family medicine physician in small clinics and hospitals in the Four Corners area and the Dakotas. He then opened a solo family practice and performed hospital work in Cortez, Colorado. In 2010, Dr. Higi and his wife moved to New Mexico to be closer to family. Before opening ABQ Integrative Family Medicine, he worked in outpatient family medicine for Presbyterian Medical Group."
