"Gary D. Schwartz, MD, is a board-certified internal medicine physician providing membership-based concierge medicine services to adult patients over the age of 40 in and around Hackensack, New Jersey. Dr. Schwartz specializes in high-quality primary care and preventive medicine. Dr. Schwartz began his health care career at the age of 18, starting out working as an EMT on an ambulance in Brooklyn, New York. He earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing at Long Island University in Downtown Brooklyn and worked in the emergency room before pursuing his medical degree.
Dr. Schwartz earned his medical degree at the American University of the Caribbean, formerly located in Montserrat, British West Indies, and then completed his internal medicine residency in Newark at The University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey (currently known as Rutgers New Jersey Medical School), before completing his clinical training in London, England. He has over 20 years of experience in private practice and is a certified medical director of several local nursing homes.
