Chris Ethridge, MD

"Dr. Chris Ethridge has lived in Jackson, Mississippi since early childhood. He attended Baylor University and Mississippi College Prior to Medical School at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, graduating in 1978.

Dr. Ethridge’s specialty training includes Orthopaedic Surgery at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He then pursued extra training with a one-year Fellowship in Hand Surgery at the University of Alabama, Birmingham, and Microvascular Reconstructive Surgery at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Melbourne Australia for one year under Bernard OBrien and Wayne Morrison. Dr. Ethridge is Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery since 1988 and holds the Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.

Dr. Ethridge was in private, solo practice in Jackson from 1984 until joining Mississippi Sports Medicine in January of 2004. His interests include arthritis, birth defects, and trauma reconstruction."
