John Messier, PA-C

"John Messier is a Physician Assistant with over seventeen years of family practice and emergency room patient care experience.

Prior to PA school, he worked as a respiratory therapist for 10 years. He currently sees patients in LFMC’s Bossier City clinic where he is an integral part of our primary and urgent care team.

John, a Bossier City native and Bossier High graduate is a US Army veteran who served tours in Afghanistan and Task Forces Katrina and Rita. Before completing his PA training at LSU Medical School, he worked as a respiratory therapist. He holds a master's degree with a specialization in family medicine from the University of Nebraska Medical School.

John not only takes care of the medical needs of families in the Shreveport/Bossier area, but he is also a family man himself. He is married to Shanel Messier of Blanchard and has four children Bailey, Kaylyn, Marshall, and Jordyn."
