"In the words of Samuel Taylor Coleridge, “He is the best physician who is the most ingenious inspirer of hope.” All around us, people are looking for hope, hope of receiving good quality care, hope of receiving a positive medical report and it is a knowledgeable healthcare professional or clinician that is going to come to their rescue. Having a Master of Science in Pharmacy, I realized that I wanted something more than dispense medications. I wished to become more involved in providing direct patient care. Thus, began my journey as a Physician Assistant.
True healing begins with healing of body, mind and soul! Hailing from India, I was exposed to the healing benefits of medicinal herbs and spices at an earlier age, understanding that it is not only therapeutic but also a way of life. As a part of my interest, I was able to conduct seminars teaching about the benefits of Turmeric and Cinnamon in treating various diseases. At Docs Outside the Box, I am excited to be part of a team where I hope to deliver quality patient care incorporating traditional medicine with integrative/holistic medical choices."
