"Dr. Mattei is excited to serve the Deerfield Beach and Boca Raton area as a specialist in a procedure called Mohs Surgery. Mohs surgery is a very effective treatment for certain skin cancers. The Mohs procedure removes tissue in layers. Dr. Mattei examines each layer microscopically to ensure the skin cancer is completely removed and has performed the procedure thousands of times.

Dr. Mattei is happy to partner with Dr. Green at Green Dermatology & Cosmetic Center. He is fellowship-trained in Micrographic Surgery and Dermatologic Oncology and is part of the American College of Mohs Surgeons. He has also completed a Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery Fellowship through the American Society of Dermatologic Surgeons. He completed his dermatology residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital and is a board-certified dermatologist. Before coming to Johns Hopkins, he conducted dermatology clinical trials research as a fellow at The Massachusetts General Hospital and Harvard Medical School."
