"Sandra Bernard, MS, PA-C, has been practicing in the foothills since 2005. Prior to that she earned her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Food Science and worked as a Nutritionist for 10 years. Sandra chose to work at Altitude in 2015 because the providers here are so involved with their patients and stress health maintenance over disease treatment. With her nutrition background, Sandra stresses healthy living with a whole body approach including diet, exercise, stress reduction and adequate sleep. She prescribes medications when necessary, but prefers a more natural course of disease treatment.
Sandra has worked in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Pediatrics and Pain Management. She is happy to treat people of any age group and is proud that Altitude welcomes Medicare patients in a time when many practices do not.
Outside of work Sandra enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking and gardening. She lives in Evergreen with her husband and has two boys who are grown and gone. A dog lover, she has two furry friends but would have 10 if her husband would let her! Call today to make an appointment with Sandra."
