"Dr. Heather Cribbs is an Oklahoma native who, after seeking a new adventure, landed in Colorado. While in Oklahoma, she practiced at a combined Urgent Care and Family Practice Center for 5 years before coming to Colorado in 2013. She brings an osteopathic perspective to medical care, which involves more in-depth treatment of patients rather than viewing them as a mere constellation of symptoms. She strives to integrate the body, mind, and complex social surroundings to improve her clients’ overall wellness and progression toward health. She manages chronic health concerns and incorporates hands-on treatment (such as OMT, or osteopathic manipulation). Dr. Cribbs earned a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Oklahoma State College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed a family medicine residency at University of Oklahoma. She is board-certified in Family Medicine and has completed additional training in wilderness medicine, prolotherapy, and craniosacral therapy. Prior to receiving her Doctorate, she received a Master’s Degree in Spanish Linguistics from the University of New Mexico and taught at the collegiate and high school levels.Outside the office, she experiences life with her adventure-loving husband, four children, and numerous pets. They hike, camp, bike, paddle board, ski, snowshoe, and enjoy all that the beautiful state of Colorado has to offer. "PeakMed Direct Primary Care is a membership-based medical practice with locations in Denver and Colorado Springs. For a flat monthly membership (think “health club”), individuals, families, and business members get unlimited access to quality healthcare services. This is where it all began. Our Tutt LifeCenter was the original PeakMed location where Dr. Mark Tomasulo and Dr. Eric Hetzel began providing direct primary care to patients in 2014. Since then, this LifeCenter has grown up to be our busiest location that is now home to many of our members."
