"Hi, I am Ty Shettron. I am a Colorado native who has been a practicing medical provider for the past six years. In my first career, I was a commercial property manager in California. When I was in my mid-30s, I decided to come home to Colorado. After spending time searching for a new career, I was led to nursing. I started as a CNA and worked my way through nursing school, obtaining my Masters of Nursing from UCCS Bethel College of Nursing in 2013. I worked my first 5 years as a provider in a rural family practice, hospital, and long-term care environment in southeast Colorado. I am passionate about providing patient centered care. My goal is to be “authentically present” with each and every patient. It is important to me to meet you where you are and engage you in your care plan. I believe in treating the whole patient. If your condition requires treatment beyond the scope of family practice, I will help you navigate the world of specialty care."
"We found that the corporate world of healthcare didn't allow providers the time to truly give the top notch care that our patients deserve. At Heartlight Family Clinic, we innovated how primary care is done by allowing longer visits, fewer visits per provider per day, and created a team based approach to primary care by incorporating behavioral healthcare into our clinic setting. You'll be greeted by warm, friendly smiles, and your provider won't be rushed to get you in and out. We can focus on your individual needs. This is a win- win situation for all of us. We are constantly making changes to improve your experience."
