Spring Fertility

I accompanied my daughter to Spring Fertility and Dr. Pasternak for an egg retrieval. It became the worst medically related experience of my life. My daughter was in severe pain in the recovery area for over 3 hours. Her pain was dismissed by Dr. Pasternak and the anesthesiologist Dr. Townsend. After more than 3 hours she was transported to the hospital by ambulance in hypotensive shock. She was admitted to the intensive care unit and was given multiple blood transfusions. She was in extreme pain. She was hospitalized for 6 days. After this experience I discussed what happened with Dr. Klatsky who is the clinic founder. He told me that it was a communication problem. I am a physician and practiced for almost 40 years and I can tell you that the problem was definitely not a communication problem. It was poor quality medical care. Please choose another doctor and another fertility clinic. I really hope to spare someone else from a major medical catastrophe.
