"My medical practice focuses on Rheumatology Primary Care and consultations and Internal Medicine. I have a special interest in patients with Fibromyalgia Syndrome, Systemic Lupus, musculoskeletal pain, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Gout and difficult to diagnose and treat Rheumatology and Internal Medicine patients. My practice approach offers comprehensive, patient friendly medical practice services and Rheumatology consultations for my patients.

I really enjoy treating my patients with an emphasis on optimizing their health which means minimizing diseases and helping them reach their personal goals in life. I focus on preventive care to keep patients as healthy as possible. This approach over time has kept most of my patients out of the hospital, improved their ability to function through comprehensive good health practices.

When needed, I put considerable thought into referring my patients to the most appropriate specialists, physical therapists, etc. and I monitor the treatment they are receiving. As a service to my patients, if a patient is having difficulty getting a radiology appointment or a specialist referral in a reasonable amount of time, patients can call my Practice Manager and she will try to expedite the appointment for them.

If my patients have medical concerns or questions, they can call my Practice Manager and/or leave a voice message. I try to call patients back in a timely fashion, usually by the end of the day, when they need to speak with me.

I am on the medical staff of Suburban Hospital, a Johns Hopkins Hospital which is associated with NIH (The National Institutes of Health). In 2017, I started a Concierge Primary Care Rheumatology and Internal Medicine practice which is complementary to my Rheumatology consultative practice. My Concierge patients have additional benefits such as, 24/7 direct communication with me via the confidential patient portal, cell phone, on call service and reserved priority appointment times for Concierge patient visits."
