"We want to take care of all of your medical needs at our practice, however there are times when it is not medically appropriate to perform a service or procedure listed above in the clinic. In these cases where treating a health issue is beyond the scope of care of family medicine, a referral will be made to the appropriate provider. Like all care received outside of our office, this is not included in membership. Some examples of this situation are a fracture that is too complicated to cast, a laceration that is too severe or is in an area where a plastic surgeon is needed to prevent scarring, a biopsy that is too invasive or complex to perform in clinic, or a complicating health concern that makes a procedure unsafe. These decisions will always be made in the best interest of our patient's health, and will be at the discretion of the doctor. Although we do not anticipate changes to our offered services, if there is a change for any reason this page will be updated and our patients will be notified immediately."
