About Payam R Yashar, M.D

"Dr. Yashar is passionate about providing expert-level care to his patients. He offers diagnoses and treatment for conditions like chest pain, atrial fibrillation, heart failure and arrhythmia using the latest technology available. He also performs heart catheterization, pacemaker and defibrillator implantation, as well as ablations for cardiac arrhythmia.  All of his invasive procedures are performed at Cedars-Sinai, and diagnostic testing is undertaken either in office or with the utilization of remote testing whenever possible. 

Today, Dr. Yashar is affiliated with the Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute, and the Preventive and Consultative Heart Center.  He is a volunteer clinical instructor at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Medicine.  In addition, he has the distinct honor of being voted one of Los Angeles Magazine's Top 100 Cardiologists. Aside from his outstanding professional care, Dr. Yashar is a truly compassionate human being who genuinely regards the well-being of his patients as his utmost priority. "
