"At KAP Medical Group DPC and Family Medicine, Dr. Karina Azank Parilo offers personalized medical care for you and your family through a unique model called Direct Primary Care (DPC). In this model you pay a flat monthly fee which covers all of the primary care services I provide. You do NOT pay anything else when you come in for a visit. No co-pay, co-insurance, deductible, etc. as I do NOT bill your insurance. This means I do not have to deal with all of the red tape and overhead that billing insurance companies entails and allows me to have a much smaller practice where I can focus on you, my patient. You get 24/7 access to me as your doctor through office visits, phone calls, secure text messaging, email and secure video chat, whatever is appropriate for what you need. When have an appointment, there will be little to no waiting in the office due to the amount of time allowed for each visit and the small number of patients in my practice compared to a traditional practice. During your visits we will have time to discuss the best way to manage your entire health (physical, emotional and mental) whether it’s a new acute issue, how to manage your chronic medical problems and how to keep you healthy. You can see me the same day during the week and reach me during evenings and weekends by text or cell phone, without going through an answering service or an on-call physician so you are less likely to need urgent care services or make trips to the ER outside of a true emergency."
