"Pouya Bahrami, DO, is a talented physician at Essential Medical Clinic, a private medical practice in the Westlake, Downtown, and Athens neighborhoods of Los Angeles, California. Dr. Bahrami earned his medical degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in Biddeford, Maine, and completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Connecticut in Mansfield, Connecticut. He stays active in the medical community with membership in a number of professional organizations, including the Institute for Functional Medicine, the Obesity Medicine Association, and the American Osteopathic Association.
In his practice at Essential Medical Clinic, Dr. Bahrami takes a holistic approach to patient care. He’s a firm believer in treating the whole person, rather than just addressing medical diagnoses, and he helps his patients achieve greater overall health with lifestyle modifications.
