Todd D. Serverin, MD

"Dr. Todd D. Severin is a board-certified ophthalmologist, specializing in the medical and surgical treatment of glaucoma. Todd was raised in the Bay Area. He graduated pre-med with honors from Pomona College in Claremont, California, where he also captained the collegiate soccer and rugby teams. He completed his medical training at the University of California Medical Center at San Diego, where he graduated with honors in Medicine and Neurology and was awarded the Lange Medical Publications Award for outstanding research. After finishing his medical internship at a Stanford University affiliate hospital, Dr. Severin returned to UCSD for his residency in ophthalmology. He served as chief resident for the department in 1992-1993 and as Assistant Surgical Director of the Flying Samaritans Eye Care Project in Tecate, Mexico."
