"I have worked in a number of practice settings over the last three decades and feel that a solid foundation for the proper practice of medicine is outstanding knowledge of disease processes (which my training and experience have afforded me). There exists, however, a need to be able to spend more time with each patient; as much time as they feel they need. This latter pivotal part of my practice was impossible until my change of practice models which occurred as of July 1, 2013. I now am able (and interested) to make house calls or to see each patient for as long as they desire in the office setting and offer the type of personalized medical care that has become impossible to deliver before this switch. Each patient gets a much more thorough annual exam and can see me as often and for as long as they wish. There is no billing and the contractual relationship is on a month-month basis. It is indeed refreshing and reinvigorating and I can honestly say that I once again truly enjoy the practice of medicine."
