"Ava Schmidt, is a board-certified family nurse practitioner with deep roots in the Chico area. She has been a Registered Nurse for over 25 years. Ava obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Chico State in May of 1989. She then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner in June of 2018 from University of Phoenix, Sacramento campus. Ava passed her board certification through the American Association of Nurse Practitioners in September of 2018. She has been practicing Family Health, most recently primary and urgent care for Sierra Nevada Brewery workers and their families. She enjoys helping clients seeking family planning, relief from menopause, fatigue, sexual health, arthritis, joint injury, headache, cardiovascular health, just to name a few. Ava Schmidt, FNP-C assists her clients to develop personalized 5-year and 10-year preventative health plans. She believes in empowering individuals who are living with chronic conditions to help them to do what they love."
