Doctor Details:

"Dr. Wadas attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix where she received her MD.  She  went on to complete residency in Internal Medicine at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, New Hampshire. While at Dartmouth, she was selected as a chief resident teaching and training rising residents in a 4th year with the program. After leaving chilly New England to return to her desert home, she worked at the Phoenix VA practicing primary care and serving as the University of Arizona Internal Medicine Residency VA Clinic Director. She decided to open Foothills Direct Primary Care in 2021 to practice medicine in a new way that removes the barriers between patient and physician, restoring the physician-patient partnership for health. Dr. Wadas is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Obesity Medicine. She practices Obesity Medicine in a Health At Every Size® (HAES®) framework."

Clinic Details:

"As her background above and current role as Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix would suggest, Dr. Wadas loves teaching. She believes that the teaching goes both ways in the clinic, however. She shares her medical knowledge and the patients share their knowledge of themselves and their health goals. She cares DEEPLY about her patients and believes in compassionate, respectful, LGBTQ+ affirming, evidence-based care. "
