Shy Badon, NP

"Shy Badon is a women's health nurse practitioner at East Bay Women’s Health, which has two locations in Alameda and Oakland, California. Ms. Badon has over ten years of experience working in the fields of reproductive health, family planning, contraception, sexually transmitted infections, and well-woman care. 

Ms. Badon obtained her Masters of Science in Nursing degree at Columbia University in New York City. She has a particular interest in the use of long-acting reversible contraceptive methods like IUDs and Nexplanon, not only for contraception but also for conditions such as endometriosis, heavy menstrual bleeding, and painful periods.

Ms. Badon was born and raised in Louisiana and recently relocated to the Bay Area from Los Angeles with her husband and two young children.
